🚨The Fauci Files – Part III: Discredit Machine

Scientists publicly questioned the “natural origin, case closed” consensus on COVID between 2020 and 2022. What happened to them, in private, ran on two channels that never interacted with each other and arrived at nearly identical language anyway.

March 11, 2021. In the “Proximal Origin” authors’ private Slack, timed explicitly to a forthcoming WHO report, Kristian Andersen lays out the strategy: “we need to push hard to discredit people like Alina as conspiracy theorists – because that’s clearly what it becomes if WHO has additional data. We have been too gentle on those accounts up until now.” Eddie Holmes: “Bloody awesome! I agree Kristian – if the WHO report says what I heard from EgoHealth then I think we should push hard in public against the Parisites.”

Not “let’s publish a rebuttal.” Push hard to discredit. As conspiracy theorists. Decided in advance of the report that would supposedly be the evidence for it… Perfectly normal.

The nicknames tell their own story. Alina Chan, a Broad Institute scientist who raised early questions about the outbreak, becomes “wall of crazy” and “Inspector Clouseau” – the group discusses complaining to her employer about her using “grant-funded time” for advocacy. Jesse Bloom, whose data showed early Wuhan genetic sequences had been deleted from an NIH database, becomes one of “the 3 stooges” (alongside Richard Ebright and David Relman); his paper gets called “racist” rather than substantively engaged. Richard Ebright, a Rutgers microbiologist and longtime gain-of-function critic, becomes “eDim,” “E-dumb,” “a total asshole”… and Andersen personally drafts and sends a formal complaint letter to Rutgers’ Board of Governors about Ebright’s tweets, mentioning he’s “been contacted by multiple journalists recently” and asking whether the university finds his behavior “acceptable.” That’s institutional pressure with an implicit media threat attached. If people were so concerned, you’d think they’d try some scientific rebuttal…

In May 2021, the group discusses actual legal threats – cease-and-desist letters – against journalists and commentators including Vanity Fair, CNN, and author Jamie Metzl, rather than responding on the merits. On Metzl: “I don’t care how many books he wants to sell – this literally is gonna get somebody killed… Cease and desist letter at the least.” They were wrong!

Now here’s the part we haven’t seen anywhere else. Fauci’s own diary, a document those scientists never saw, released years later as a completely separate release, shows him privately using nearly identical language about the same people. He calls Ebright, Relman, and Bloom “the 3 stooges… pushing the lab-leak hypothesis literally based on absolutely no solid evidence.”

He approvingly records an ally’s crude public Twitter attack on Ebright, virologist Angela Rasmussen calling him “the human manifestation of Pepe the Frog, who spends his days squatting on his Twitter lily pad croaking at everyone who disagrees w/ his uninformed views… He’s an abusive bigot & I don’t owe him professional courtesy.”
